How is it calculated?
How is CBM calculated?
CBM = Length (m) × Width (m) × Height (m) × Quantity. A 60 × 40 × 50 cm carton is 0.12 m³. The tool converts centimetres automatically.
What is W/M (revenue ton)?
In ocean freight 1 m³ equals 1,000 kg. Whichever is greater — volume or weight in tons — is charged; the minimum is usually 1 W/M.
LCL or FCL?
Up to about 15 m³ LCL is usually cheaper. Between 15–25 m³ also ask for a 20' FCL rate, above that a 40'.
